1 week rest.

heh, darned computer died for the past few days.
and when attempting to use the internet, the msn messenger is fckd up, as usual. ahahaz. cant sign in with msn, must use the ol sch windows messenger. oh well, better than nth i spose.

interesting past week i guess,

monday
ended early and had seasports heats at kallang.
hahaz after all those (actually twice only) trainings,
we only got 2nd/3rd/4th. uncertainty is due to the closeness between us 3 teams. hahaz. our bloody seasports steerer( i dno wat theyre called) sucked. she steered us right into the other class' dragonboat.haiyo. haha.

funny experience, our class tried to stretch our arms before the race, and one of it was to stretch our arms upwards, and to the left. haahaha. we panicked when the boat swayed violently to the left. almost became the only team to capsize in a dragon boat.

oh while waiting for other events, did alot of stupid things. got caught trying to help A01 in dragonboat cuz they didnt haf enuff pple, and me robo and sopmeh were trying to be helpful. use my fac shirt to wrap my face and only revealed the eyes but then used jayni's (rozi's) shades. haha instead of looking like a mysterious stalker, i looked like a blardy crazy fishmonger, what with my flashy orang shorts and weirdlooking booties.

tuesday
haha didnt complete my essay + feeling super tired from the day before, didnt go sch. got an mc, sat at home studyin maths. but only got to ap/gp. completed the essay and sum other stuffz.
refreshing one day break frm sch.

wednesday
had manifestasi meeting and kompang prac after sch.
haha interesting...

thursday
sch ended late as usual, sucks larh to have a 4.10 day.
what with nordin being the pe teacher. but on a more positive note,

friday
had maths test in the morn, it was okay i guess. got no. 1 and 2 correct- 11 sure marks. + some marks here and there i guess i can scrape thru a pass at least. please. i already failed phy n chem. :rushed home to get my preUsem consent form signed and rushed back to sch for the preUsem meeting. had a complete dry run of the presentation. haha it was okay i guess, but became too informal for my liking. at night had dikir at sunplaza.
saw one power group from ITE i think. damn they were good.
they had full strength, 20 i think. we were only 11 strong.
haha. turns out i noe the instructor. and his bro. my pri sch mates.
practised our voices, we were okay i guess. but couldnt really reach the high notes. i was using my suaratekak instead of suaraperot. haiz. losing my voice arh like dis. damn. haha and for being a loyar burok i got whacked/tickled by the rest. ouch.
reached home at 1130. mm late. :
saturday
college day. reached sch at 210 in the horror of forgetting to bring my songkok. so had to settle for a size 6 songkok apek brought along as a spare. shit mann. haha, mine's an 8 or 7 at least.
wat to do. sumbat jer larh. so our kompang was great. not as berterabuh as previous times. haha. had our laughs while waiting for GOH to come. went home soon after getting our free food.
couldnt go for zul's sis' wedding. :
sunday
great day full of slacking. woke up at 1130.
watched army daze. haha funny shit man.. singapore made a gd movie out of that larh. speaking of movies, i wanna watch star wars. i wanna read harry potter. and i wanna read breaking da vinci's code. DAMN frustrated at myself for falling asleep on thursday nite, missed that breaking da vinci's code show. damn lar.
oh well. sat at home eating maggi goreng, playing NFSU2. and now finally got to use the com. haha. blardy com.

haha. i like that part. its nice.
i bet those of you who havnt listened to it are clueless.
and that = most of you. :P

welp yest one full day.
slept at 3 am on Sat. woke up 640 on Sat.
got ready, left house at 725. my bro sent me to sch and i reached at 732. we boarded the bus and prepared for a long busride.
haha. JJC. hmm. okaylah. not so long. 40 mins? ard ther.

reached the sch, saw many other jc students. saw a few familiar faces ie VS peeps. saw Isyraf n Chuan En and Rueben n Prinya. There were others when i checked the list but didnt see them.
its okay, ill see them in June. got our info files. i checked every name to look for pple i recognized. got a few. oh haha. TP sent the most malay students for this Pre U Sem. 2nd would be MI.

im in group 16 with Yasmeen. heh at least i noe sumone already.
there are 2 other malays, one boy and one girl.and were gona live in the hostel!.yeahhh.i get to go there before my bro does! :P
double room hostel, with a roommate. hopefully i get sumone whos easy going and definitely NOT FUSSY. please. insyaAllah. heh.
oh and im group leader, supposed to chair those group discussions.

hahah. hm excited kinda. living in hostel, meeting new people, one week away from being nagged at and study, hm. okay.
haha. damn groups 1-12 get to go bowling and golfing as an activity. our range of groups (cant remember) got pottery. ahh. i wanted to try golf. haha. sumth new. well, pottery it is.

okay haha sumone went to the zoo to meet some relatives. LOL :P

then after that went parkway. prayed. haha got fauzie and amri lost in trying to lead them to the surau. whaah sorry!!.

swensen's trip was cancelled cuz it was packed.
then went to eat at mac's.student value meal.mmmmm yummeh.
haha. then went to play pool. then went home.

juz now wnet madrasah. woke up 750 after sleeping again from subuh. rushed. reached there at 830. exams. :P read a bit of Hadith in the taxi. haha that part came out! whew.hahaz.

Who da hell...

puzzled.

kk rough day.
not for me, but for a few others.
hope theyre okay now...

anyways. after coming back to sch and finding out that i wasnt actually needed in preUsem meeting,( altho i sat there until 430 to see the presentation) went to find the kompang pple who had already finished. then found alman shyra raudah and azimah in a classroom. alman was teaching them trigo. salutes. trigo has been shit to me. hahah.

so the guys decided to go watch a movie- Kingdom of Heaven.
Aro Aan Apit Apek Tol Zai Robo Alam and me. haha. crazy pple.
started out with a delay cuz Apit had stuffz to settle. and i got whacked in the lifts twice. thanks alot guys. :
then mission began. hahaha. Alam got missioned! pity him. *mocks apek's laugh* aheh. aheh. aheh. aheh. hahaha. lame. then went bedok (princess) for the movie. at this stage everyone was paranoid of getting left behind. aahahaha. me n robo most vulnerable.haha went to buy tix then went to macs. robo got 1 cheeseburger and 3 hamburgers using his macpoints. me n elfi bought drinks with ezlink card. haha the day of budget-ing.

-$5 tix only at princess
-bought 4 cans of drinks at ABC shop
-bought ice at hawker centre
-filled up the 2 cups we got frm macs
-those 'free' burgers.
-10 mamee snacks at $1.20

haha wat else.

kk wait. bac at macs. ruzaini had to go toilet. so
jengjengjeng he got missioned. hahahaha.
but we met up later on to watch the movie.
the theater was empty, so spacious. we all sat with legs up on the chairs infront. but the movie quality sucked! at parts, there was no sound, the movie was kinda played fast-forward, and even a blank black screen at one point.haha thats wat u get for $5.

ok as for the movie.in terms of:
action- 8/10
storyline-6.5/10
flow-4/10

overall id give a 6/10 lar. it wasnt smooth in its plot.
i guess those who love action would love this.but im sumone who looks at all aspects of the movie. the movie seemed like it got censored too much and some parts were just taken out. and these parts would be the links between one scene to another.but i kinda liked the storyline.

i just like history larh. saladin or Salahuddin. some parts were accurate, but sum parts were wrong. haha pple holding a cross saying Assalamualaikum is weird. but at least they got that fact on Muslims not harming innocent citizens i.e. women and children right. yeah.

its finally over and done with...

woohoo.
im up early.
and yea,
i dont noe y either.
oO. 060505. definitely one date to remember.

started out with sports day which was quite a bore for me cuz i had to be a timekeeper.we(me n taufiq) went up to nordin to tell him that we wanted to run for our class' 12x100m but ended up getting appointed as timekeepers. so on the timekeepers' stand we sat- me, taufiq, amin, eugene, adam, faruk, khai(bob), erawan, hafiz(heartbeat), weiliang and kozaw. watched many races, recognized many pple who won.
woo.so fast. liyana 2nd place and nora 3rd place in the 100m finals, elfi 1st (as usual) in the 100m guys, my class 05S19 girls winning 1st in the 12x100m relay, seeing wani's class 04S30 (isit????) winning so many races. haha. and i mean many.manymanymany races.
oh and 05A02/A05 combined won 12x100 guys. khai amri and arif were damn fast. haha.
i wana run next year. i dun care. i want to run. :)

o yea n nordin let me play as a stopper. no more flat four formation.
now i am quite free to play :)
hopefully i dont screw this up either.
( we lost 3-0 to SAJC last thursday btw...
we played suckily 2/3 of the full time
and i miskicked the ball again.
wat happend to me i dno..)

well at least my morale's on a high rite now. hope itll last till monday and thursday.

kk full update on yest.
siaped to go prayers, brought along clothes for later in that day.
but after prayers in ran. heavily. got my shirt, pants and shoes partially wet.
so went home. dried myself off. cancelled the jamming session supposed to be at 2pm.
drank lemon & honey water. took manuka honey, had strepsils' and woods' lozenges for the throat, ate pisang ( as ifran advised) and wat else???
oh haha wasnt supposed to eat oily food but i ate ock's squid fritters that sumone bought for home. haha. watodo. havnt eaten that whole day.
thenthenthen reached sch at 315. met up with the rest outside the council room.
all were getting ready. and for the 1st time in history alfian reached faster then one of us (me).
haha.congrats dude :P

and so we waited for our turn for the rehearsal as we warmed up.holding area was LT1
waited and waited. and waited. o so abt 5pm they tell us that there wasnt enuff time for us to rehearse our song. me alfian aro and adam argued with council and in the end all we got were a few seconds of soundcheck. so we practised our reggae part. haha. then went back to LT1. ( over this whole waiting, i put on the eyeliner 3 times cuz had to rub it off to pray asar n maghrib)
(tried) to make my hair all pointy. brought strong gel for others to use also.
dressed up well enuff i think. light2 brown long sleeve shirt ( half-buttoned) with a black shirt inside and brown pants and brown shoes. nice colour coordination i think.hahaha :P

at ard 745pm all the bands were to get backstage. woo. nervousness came in. but we were okay.
haha conducted a 'pep talk' beforehand with split decision, momoks n our own hemposters.
to help us calm down and perform well.haha.step mana nye inspirational talk. :P
okay then the council band came up. the drummer's timing wasnt too great but hey at least they tried. they were not bad too playing that song. 'all abt you' i think. then came matthew's band. cant remember their bandname. their rendition of iris was nice. haha but jerome sat down while the rest were playing the bridge. brave of him.

then came the momoks! with their 'the reason' and samba gimick. syafiq and abbas dancing into the stage was a funny sight!ahahah. their showmanship was superb. kudos to them for picking that ambitious song and pulling it off. u guys rocked \m/!!!!
woohoo. one performance down.

then came us, THE HEMPOSTERS! yeahhh.so we put our reggae gimick to work.
i was at the drums. haha bet people had a shock.me on drums??? wahahaha. yeayeayea the reggae worked i tell you. it definitely helped us ease into our rendition of hysteria.
got the gimick to work. one part down.
alfian took over. i took the mike and went upfront. taufiq started.
so far so good. playing to the crowd was exhilirating. no pressure watsoever.
made a steamsteam face to suit the song. my voice was okay. it broke at one part but who cares. everyth went quite smoothly. taufiq had a few missed notes, so did ashraf in his solo and so did alfian on the drums. marlia was consistent. still overall i felt satisfaction.
finished, took a bow and went off. then came inside the audi to watch split decision's performance.Alhamdulillah, ours was over and done with.

Split Decision were definitely great. thought theyd take home the gold with kak nab/nabila's violin playin eversosmoothly. they were tight man. faizal/world's vocals were great.
adam played v calmly and looked relaxed. syafiq was as usual playing with utmost enthusiasm and showmanship. and farouk made sure his drums counted for sumth.
yeaman u guys rocked too \m/!!!!!

so came the last band 6 lonely souls playing that superman song.
but b4 that the emcees were trying to stall the show so that they could get ready.
so they were asking ard who the audience's childhood heroes were.
i shouted out superman cuz i knew they were playin that. and it attracted the emcees to me.
haha. maimuna called me taufiq. baik taufiq! so i went on stage and she whispered that they needed time and asked me to waste time. so when asked who my childhood hero was.
i said SOPMEH. hahaha. ok stop. that was funny man... but yea at least made him popular.
hadi and mohsin and ashraf were all laughing like crazy. it was mohsin's idea after all :P
haha stop blaming others ariff!
so 6 lonely souls went on. they played nicely.they looked gelled together.good show.

as the judges went into the deliberating room to decide who'd win,
there was a performance from infera or sumth lidat playing emocore/screamo.

didnt like it. others may have. but i didnt. not my cup of tea.
they played 4 songs. wahlao. not fair.
nazir and malkan were there to provide side entertainment.
parkour to be exact. they were cool. kong vaults and backflips and front flips and somersaults.
wow. brave men.

after that performance, the teachers performance was bein prepared.
and shafiq ( hockey) and er i dno one malay girl (our senior i think) were called on stage to play a game. they were supposed to find the longest something. n when revealed that it was eyelashes, i called her to check mine out. hahaha. went on stage ( i felt like an attention seeker lah. so extra go upstage so many times for wat.paisey only) and had to compete with an arab looking girl. haha i won. :P:P:P my eyelashes that long. hahah. alhamdulillah. gift frm God yea?

butbutbut we didnt get to see the other performances.the solo and groups. :alman was solo-ing. he n his band were group-ing.nora was also group-ing.
missed it all. damn. hahahz. hopefully sumone taped it so i can see :P.

thenthenthen teachers performance- sick! haha the muscular teachers wearing tube tops.
hahahah omg. sick. disgusting.okay2.

then all the performers were called on stage. so here were the results.
solo : 2nd runner up Allister
1st runner up Alman. (HAPPY THERE ALMAN??? :P)
1st place Fatin.
group : alman's group came in 2nd.
nora's group got 1st eh??? i didnt noe!! :P
band : 2nd runner up matt's band ( damn thought us 3 bands would take top 3.)
(got nervous already)
1st runner up Split Decision ( happy for them, scared for us)
( super nervous, we were congratulating the momoks already)
1st place - The Hemposters.
sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

hahaha jumped for joy. kicked alfian abit.(sry bro) went to collect the trophy and vouchers.
shook their hands and gave them weird faces. haha. electrico. y never perform?????

okay. then after that met many pple. farah (damai) gave me a rose :) and to ashraf zaini umar syafiq and abbas as well. got congratulated alot. and this time i was thinkin
'whew, glad its over.and glad we got sumth out of it'
still. prize or no prize. i enjoyed myself.

after that we seemed to walk ard the whole of tampines searching for a place to eat.
( exaggeration). ended up squeezing at macs. i was a dinosaur so i ate the grilled chicken foldover meal. yummehh. reached home at nearly 12am. and fell asleep immediately after changing. ungrateful person i was. :
o yea. thrilling experience. glad we did it.
haha.hmm. now...wat to do with all those vouchers.
wait WHERE ARE THOSE VOUCHERS ANYWAY????

low on confidence.

dry run didnt go well.
we got our 2 gos juz now cuz we couldnt go for the full dress rehearsal tmr. so yeah. both times werent that good.
the rest of them were okay i guess.my vox sucked lar.
aiya. so pressurising. so many pple watching. ill make a fool out of myself. my voice juz cant cut it. haiZ.
and wat am i to do when i haf no part to sing? sit around and dig my nose? i felt so nervous juz now on stage so much so that i was being static. pple said i looked like i was gettin an asthma attack. ahahz.
oh and wat if i lose my voice tmr???
